Meet The Team
Keith has worked in the insurance industry for almost forty years after joining his father as an agent in 1983.
Over the years, he has gained an expansive knowledge of Personal and Business Insurance.
He uses his experience to guide clients to the correct coverage for their specific needs.
Outside of the office, Keith enjoys being a grandpa to his two granddaughters and spending as much time with them as possible.
As an avid car enthusiast, he loves working on his classic cars, especially his 1969 Oldsmobile 442, which he hopes to finish soon.
Faq
Insurance companies partly use credit scores to rate policies for what is known as an insurance score.
Now, what does an insurance score entail?
Well, it is the combination of your credit score, driving record, and number and severity of home claims.
Full Coverage means that you have Comprehensive Coverage and Collision coverage on your vehicle or vehicles.
I have heard many people believe that Full Coverage means you have Roadside Assistance and Rental Car Coverage, this however is not true.
What separates KPI from other agencies is our ability to offer our clients multiple companies and a deep-rooted knowledge of the insurance industry that allows us to correctly guide our clients in all situations.
Auto Insurance
Bodily Injury Liability helps protect you from paying medical costs, loss of income, and funeral expenses of other people involved in an accident that you were deemed at fault.
Property Damage Liability helps protect you from paying out of pocket for the repair or replacement of another driver's car.
This also covers other people's property, such as fences, barns, /sheds to name a few.
Uninsured and Underinsured motorist coverage will help pay for your and your passenger's medical expenses, as well as repairs or replacement of your vehicle if the other driver has nonsufficient or no insurance.
Home Insurance
Your Dwelling is covered under your policy and includes your home and structures, such as a garage or deck attached to your home.
Other Structures are covered under your policy and include buildings, such as a detached garage or storage shed, separate from the house.
Personal Property such as furniture, appliances, clothing, and other contents are typically covered.
Additional Living Expense can help by reimbursing you for reasonable increases in living expenses when a loss covered makes your home uninhabitable.
Umbrella Insurance
A Personal Umbrella Policy offers protection for you and your family against large and potentially devastating liability claims or judgments.
It's called an umbrella policy because it offers an extra layer of protection over and above your standard auto and homeowners insurance.
For example, you are involved in an auto accident, and you're sued and found liable for $1 million damages.
If your auto insurance covers $100,000, you're personally on the hook for $750,000.
If you have a $1 million Umbrella that would go above your auto limits and would cover the $750,000.
Boat Insurance
It helps pay for property damage or bodily injury for which you are legally responsible in the case of an accident.
It helps pay for injuries you, your family, or anyone on your boat sustains due to an accident with an uninsured boater.
It helps pay for some of your medical costs or funeral expenses if you or anyone on your boat is injured in an accident.
It helps you pay for damage to your boat if you're involved in an accident or your boat is damaged while docked, in motion, or storage.
It covers damages associated with your boat trailer up to the selected policy limits of your choice.
Whole Life Insurance
Provides long-term protection that may last your entire life while building guaranteed cash value.
The minimum amount of coverage available is usually $10,000-$100,000 depending on the company.
With the ability to add many optional coverage's listed below.
Provides for payment of an additional death benefit when death occurs accidentally before the age of 70.
Provides level term coverage on the insured's children, up to $10,000 each.
Protection on each child begins following their 14th day of life and continues to age 25 when coverage may be converted up to five times the initial benefit amount.
Term Life Insurance
Life Insurance is designed to keep your family's financial future secure in the event of your passing.
What would happen to your family if you were no longer able to contribute?
Would your family be able to continue to live the way they have become accustomed to?
Could they afford to stay in their same home, school, and other favorite pass times?
With Term Life Insurance, you choose the policy's length of time, usually 10-30 years, and the amount of coverage based on your individual needs.
Your payments stay the same over the length of policy that you choose.
Group & Individual Insurance
Individual Health Insurance is coverage that you purchase on your own, on an individual or family basis, instead of having insurance through your employer.
Group Health Insurance provides coverage to a group, usually company employees or members of an organization.
Groups can only purchase plans, and most require a 70% participation rate amongst employees.
Here our partnership begins.
We learn about your individual needs to help you find the best coverage for your circumstances and budget.
Long Term Care Insurance
Whether it's at an outside facility or in your own home, you want your assets protected when you require long-term care.
Long-Term Care Insurance allows you to transfer some of the cost for care to help preserve your wealth.
You can choose a facility daily benefit amount between a $50 minimum and a $250 maximum, as well as a benefit period and waiting period.
The Insurance Company will provide coverage while you are in a facility or being cared for in your home.
Benefit Payment: The benefit amount is paid directly to you, not to the care provider, regardless of the cost of your care.
Business Owners Insurance
Combines the liability and property of your business together in a package policy, with broad coverages and the ability to add on many optional endorsements.
Covers damage your building or buildings' contents due to a covered loss such as theft and fire.
Replaces your lost income for up to 12 months if you have to close for repairs due to a covered loss temporarily.
Pays for the cost to replace or restore eligible electronic data in the event of a covered loss.
Here our partnership begins.
We learn about your individual needs to help you find the best coverage for your circumstances and budget.
Business Auto Insurance
Commercial auto insurance provides a wide variety of coverages for vehicles used by your business.
For example, but not limited to cars, trucks, and vans.
Covers any bodily injury to others and property damage to other vehicles if you are deemed at fault in an accident.
Bodily injury will pay for the other person's medical costs and lost wages and your legal expenses if a lawsuit is brought against you due to an accident.
It protects you if the driver who hit you does not carry enough liability insurance to cover your bills in an accident.
Commercial Umbrella Insurance
Commercial Umbrella Insurance provides an extra layer of liability protection by covering your business above and beyond your other policy's liability coverage limits.
For example, a client is walking in your parking lot and steps in a hole and falls, which in turn breaks their wrist.
You are then sued by that client and found liable for $2 million, but you only have $1 million liability with your business owner's policy.
You would be held responsible for the remaining $1 million.
Unless you had at least a $1 million umbrella, that would make up the $1 million difference.
Cyber Liability Insurance
Cyber liability insurance provides businesses with coverage options to help protect their company from data breaches and other cyber security issues.
Cyber liability insurance can cover the costs associated with cyber-attacks or data breaches on your business.
This can loss of income due to a cyber event, costs to notify your clients affected in the breach, costs to recover the compromised data to name a few.

Trucking Insurance
Provides insurance on the commodities being hauled by the driver.
This includes your liability for the cargo if it is either damaged or lost due to a covered claim such as an accident or theft.
The coverage limit is set by the insured and has a separate deductible.
Provides liability coverage when you use your truck on your day off for, say, visiting friends or any non-work-related reason while driving your work truck.
For example, it will pay for the medical expenses or damages to other people's property in the event of an accident.
Workers Compensation Insurance
Worker's compensation provides coverage for medical expenses, lost wages, and rehabilitation costs to your employees who are injured or become ill during their job.
Employees that file claims for workers' compensation insurance can only do so if their duty causes their injury or illness while they are on the job.
Rates for workers' compensation insurance are determined based on the experience rating, which looks at the number of losses in your similar businesses the past five years.
Businesses have significant control over the cost of their workers' compensation.
