Jenny Collins didn't set out to make insurance a career.
She was 29, the mother of five children under 10, and took a job selling insurance because the hours fit her family's schedule.
Collins ended up working 27 years with Allstate, before taking a few years off to enjoy her grandkids.
During that time, she stayed current professionally and kept a close watch on the changing insurance industry.
In 2006, Collins was approached by the Montana Agency Alliance and asked to become an independent agent with an affiliation to the Strategic Independent Agents Alliance.
